About user/department assignment

Departments must be assigned to users so they can review the requisitions/work orders that are sent to that department. When a department is assigned to a user, the Role ID WEBREQ_DEPARTMENTS is automatically assigned to the user so they can access the Department menu. When a user is removed from a department, the role is automatically removed, unless the user has been assigned more than one department.

You can:

• Assign departments to users for the first time

• Assign additional departments to users
